Hi there, I'm Jyothish!
Not just a plant in glass. A living sculpture.
I come from a farming family in Kuttiady, Kozhikode, in Kerala, India, where forests, flowing water and waterfalls were part of everyday life. The land was my first teacher, and nature became my first studio.
I went on to study sculpture at the College of Fine Arts in Thiruvananthapuram, through undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Sculpture taught me form, balance, texture and space. Then one question changed everything: what if a sculpture could be alive?
Terra World is my answer. Instead of shaping only stone or clay, I compose miniature landscapes from plants, moss, wood, stone and glass. Each one grows, changes and asks to be cared for, and each can carry a story: a birthday, an anniversary, a new home, a thank-you.
